COVID 19 Update: How SCE Environmental Group Is Responding
SCE Environmental Group has been working hard to keep everyone safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, and here are a few of our projects.
Decontamination/Disinfection:
- Blue Cross Healthy Zone (East Aurora, NY)
- Buffalo Niagara International Airport (Buffalo, NY)
- Niagara Frontier Transit Authority (Buffalo, NY)
- County of Lackawanna County Transit System (COLTS) Intermodal Transportation Center (Scranton, PA)
- Luzerne County Correctional Facility (Wilkes Barre, PA)
- Erie County Public Works (Buffalo, NY)
- Greater Scranton YMCA (Dunmore, PA)
- Lackawanna County Correctional Facility (Scranton, PA)
- Plus, over 1,000,000 SF of other facilities decontaminated or disinfected Nationwide
Construction:
- Constructed six-bay negative pressure tent to assist The Wright Center For Community Health to help flatten the curve and to help protect patients and first-line heroes
- Negative pressure temporary triage centers are for the isolation and treatment of COVID-19 patients – these tents are easily decontaminated and utilize negative pressure technology to exceed the air exchange requirements as outlined by the CDC
Supplies:
- SCE has equipped the South Abington Township Police Department with N95 masks
- SCE has provided over 7,000 masks to health care providers, correctional officers, nonprofits, and private organizations throughout the US
- SCE has teamed up with community partners to set up an emergency drive-thru food giveaway where over 1,000 meals were provided
