SCE was contracted to demolish and remove a concrete slab and to repair impacted asphalt. The slab included thickness up to two feet. The challenge at this site was the designation of the area as a Heavy Equipment Exclusion Zone. Because of this HEEZ designation, SCE had to work around significant logistical problems and coordinate work and hours with others on the active site.
