Helicor Aviation, in cooperation with Davis Aviation, is an FAA Certified Helicopter Airline operating a fleet of Robinson R44 Helicopters and Bell Jetrangers. Helicor’s fleet of choppers covers the entire Marcellus Shale region in PA, OH, NY and WV. Each Robinson R44 is equipped with seating for up to three passengers and with a cruising speed of 100 mph. The Bell Jetrangers are equipped with seating for up to four passengers with a cruising speed of 135 mph. Our helicopter charter service offers point to point transfers, local air tours for dignitary or investors, mapping or scouting, and aerial photography services. We also offer passenger pick up and drop off services from airports, hotels, and drill sites.

Photography

Our helicopters specialize in all types of aerial photography and film production. Our experienced pilots and state of the art Robinson R44 provide an excellent platform for obtaining spectacular photos. Each helicopter is equipped with GYRO stabilized camera mounts, as well as the latest in Digital, High Definition Video and Still Photography equipment. Our helicopters are also available for specific aerial photography needs. You can provide our staff with your project information and we can fly directly to the site and take 50-100 photo’s in digital format. The photos taken will then be available to you online or by mail in CD format.

Aircraft Charter

In addition to the helicopters, Helicor can provide a Cirrus S22 airplane with seating up to 3 passengers or a pressurized Learjet 40 which seats 6 passengers for full jet service throughout the US and abroad.

Helicopters are ideally suited for short and medium-range journeys up to 250 miles or so, where several landings may be required in a day. For longer journeys, an airplane is more efficient.
