SCE has been entrenched with work regarding the recent flooding in Northeastern, PA.  SCE continues to donate personnel and equipment to people who don’t have insurance or people that need immediate help. To date, we have helped in excess of 14 homeowners with drying, water removal, demolition, and flood related clean up. Additionally, SCE continues our efforts on over 25 flood related projects in Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania. This work, led by Bill Bradican, continues to grow and gain great reviews by clients and customers. Special thanks to Morgan Dirkson for her work in organizational and field leadership in West Pittston.

SCE crews have been working on commercial, residential and industrial buildings in five Counties with work including water removal, fuel oil spills, docment recovery, demolition and / or rebuilding.

SCE has responded to many disasters throughout the world.

SCE has formed partnerships with our clients to help them enhance economic and business performance, comply with regulations, avoid liability, solve environmental problems, improve infrastructure, and prevent pollution in the most distressed conditions. On September 11th, 2001 when our country was faced with a horrific tragedy; SCE responded. With the deployment of over 70 environmental professionals to the World Trade Center site within hours, SCE performed decontamination and demolition efforts in support of the clean up activities.

SCE proactively put into place an emergency response service for biological, chemical and industrial incidents in the workplace throughout the Eastern United States. Operating out of regional command centers, SCE responded to actual and threatened terrorist incidents including securing the affected areas, sampling and analysis, and remediation activities. Customers received 24 hour, 7 day a week access to SCE’s network of on-site coordinators with a phone call. SCE provided remediation services in mitigating risk to protect employees and ensuring business continuity.

When the biological concern of Anthrax threatened our way of life; SCE responded. From the decontamination of a major news network to the testing of a multitude of private office buildings, to the development of a Nationwide Emergency Response Service, SCE was there and will be there again for northeastern Pennsylvania.
